What do Bees, Guts, Soil, and Cancer have in common? The Microbiome!

Dr. Walke was honored to be in such great company on a panel to discuss the role of the microbiome in Bees, Guts, Soil, and Cancer at a Town Hall Seattle forum. Thanks to Bob Redmond of Survivor Bee for organizing such a great event. The public thought it was an important topic too, as it was sold out! It may seem as though these topics are disparate, but there are so many parallels between these systems, AND they are all interconnected and in many cases, dependent on the others. I was able to talk about bees and their microbes and how they are important in both food health and human health issues. The forum was recorded and is now a podcast that can be accessed at this website. Check it out! https://townhallseattle.org/event/bees-guts-soil-and-cancer/
